Our training gives you additional customer service skills that will help you be a better certified technician. We want to equip you with the right skills and tools before we expect results. You will go through training during your first 90 days, but the learning doesn’t stop there; you will continue to receive additional ongoing training and support. You enjoy working independently- You take pride in the work that you give, you do right by the customers, even when no one is watching. You will give peace and mind to your customers by responding to their needs and will make sure all of their challenges are meet on your route. You will be performing termite treatment on your customers’ homes in a consistent manner and high quality to make your life easier and for others around you. You will follow the safety policies in place and wear your personal protective equipment. You will wear the company uniform that will be provided by the company. You will properly maintain your assigned company truck and equipment and report any problems with your truck or equipment in a timely manner. Requires constant (67-100% of the time) walking, climbing ladders, stairs, attics, crawling, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching, stooping, and stretching. Termite technician are drenching, with an iron rod, able to use a drill to drill into the ground/cement every 3 feet around the area of the customer’s house, and as needed throughout the house. Requires constant ability to move freely about the office building and between customer locations. Able to handle and move objects, using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things. Requires constant (0-30% of the time) Lifting up to 50-75lbs while performing duties, must possess ability and stamina to work long hours and conduct several inspections per day in attics, crawl spaces and other areas. Must possess ability to climb heights. Must possess ability to endure exposure to high temperatures while conduction inspections. You enjoy being outdoors 80% of your day, regardless of the weather, is outdoors. Even when it is 110 degrees outside, you want to give each customers time and respect, with a smile on your face. Requires constant contact with the public and employees. Work is usually performed outdoors and in/on customer property. May be exposed to rain, water, mud, hail, winds, dust, dirt, cement, grass, shrubs, trees, and others. Incumbent may be exposed to industry products while conducting work. o As the nature of this position, you will come in contact with pests such as but not limited to; insects, termites, bee’s, mice, termite, bed bugs etc.✓ You must agree to and pass a pre-employment background and drug test and ongoing random drug test.✓ You must have a valid driver’s license that is not currently suspended or revoked and no more than 1 traffic violation with in the last year.We OfferStability; we have not had a layoff here at Blue Sky Pest Control.
