Blue Sky Pest Control, the fastest growing residential and commercial pest control service in the Phoenix metro area had its roots in Texas with a former parent company. Since 2003, Blue Sky has been an independent pest control service focused on servicing the Phoenix metro area. Blue Sky started with 1 office administrator and 2 great technicians. Today our team is over 25 staff members strong and growing strategically to continue offering a premium service at a great price.

Curtis Whalen - Chief Operating Officer
Curtis has over eleven years of experience in the pest control market. He brings to Blue Sky a deep understanding of all the operational and sales aspects integral to succeeding in the pest control market. Curtis started out selling pest control services door-to-door while attending Brigham Young University. In addition, he spent time as a service technician learning the various pest practices used in the field. After graduating from college, Curtis co-founded Berrett Pest Control Inc. located in Dallas, Texas. During the first five years of business, Curtis was a driving force in taking Berrett Pest Control from a one truck to a twenty-seven truck operation with multiple locations. Curtis continues to provide significant value in attracting and training both operational and sales personnel. He has also developed and implemented processes and procedures that Berrett Pest Control and now Blue Sky Pest Control use to ensure quality customer service, safety and financial profitability. Curtis has a BS degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Finance from the Marriott School of Management at Brigham Young University.
Nathan Woolf - President and Chief Financial Officer
Nathan has over 10 years of experience in the following functional areas: marketing, product management, project management, mergers & acquisitions, audit and operational consulting. In 1999 he began working at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Washington DC in its Mergers & Acquisitions group. He has extensive deal experience as he has worked on over 50 transactions with total deal value greater than $20 billion. His work included buyside and sellside due diligence, transaction structuring and financial modeling. Prior to working at PricewaterhouseCoopers, he worked at Franklin Covey Co. where he was the assistant product manager for The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People product line. While at Franklin Covey he also assisted in the development of a new seminar program and managed numerous other projects including the strategy, development and execution of several marketing campaigns. Nathan has a BS and Masters Degrees in Accountancy from Brigham Young University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
